Flip Flops, Mother's Day, Election 2013

Last Sunday was Mother's Day. It was a joy that many greeted you in that special day, as a mother. Well, because it's Sunday we went to church for a Sunday service then went to SM to buy food for lunch and dinner. But when we arrived at SM, naputol ang isang sandal ko. And napa-OMG talaga ako ng sobra. I have no choice but to buy one, so immediately went to the department store and caught my eyes. A Hello Kitty flip flops by Banana Peel. It was super duper cute!!!!

That night, we gathered for dinner with some relatives together with my uncles from California to celebrate Mother's Day. It was fun especially with the kids.

Then yesterday, was election day for Senators (National), Mayor, Vice-Mayor, Governor, Vice-Governor, Congressman and Councilors (Local). It was a long process to vote because you need to follow the long line who are also voting. If you go early, you finish voting early. For me, my mom and my brother, we went around 9am and waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes. For my mom, she should be priority because she is a senior citizen already but she chose to fall in line with us (for experience). That afternoon, we had DURIAN!!!

ANTM British Invation

I know that this ANTM cycle is already finished but it was seen on replay on Star World. I was excited on watching it because the challenge was a Hello Kitty Photo shoot. I do not know if I heard it right that the designer is a Filipino. This said photo shoot was photograph by Ann He, a 16 years old based out of Dallas.

I really love HELLO KITTY! In Facebook, I added an online store named GRIMZ KITTY STUFF . Ang super cute ng mga Hello Kitty stuffs na binebenta niya, grabe! And then one day I saw that she posted some items na pinapa-raffle niya, you just need to bet for a certain amount depending on the the item. So I tried to bet some but I had no luck. One afternoon she texted me that I won a raffle that I bet and like I was so happy!

2. School is near, Mika is already excited to mingle with her new teacher and classmates. Done with everything! Already bought back pack for her, school shoes and rubber shoes including also socks, shirts uniforms and skirts. I love the Hello Kitty school shoes and rubber shoes for her, they are adorable. I hope and pray na yung attitude niya dito sa bahay hindi niya dalahin sa school, ang kulit kasi eh. Parents orientation will be on June 6 and classes will start on June 7.

3. Hubby and I talked thru skype again last week, I was relieved. I was worried kasi, ang tagal niyang hindi nag-online. 3 week sila naka-tambay sa Bahamas, usually kasi 1 week lang sila doon. He told me that he will arrive last week of June. Cannot wait to see, kiss ang hug him!!!
