Papa's Burial

Sad to say but that is life.  My father died last January 22, 2014.  We really thought his sickness was okay and thought that he could be discharge from the hospital but it made him worst.  Aspiration Pneumonia was the main problem.  As what I have said on my previous entry, it only started with dizziness then high blood pressure and mild stroke.  The wake lasted only for 3 days, the burial was yesterday (January 25) at 9am.  Thank you to friends and relatives who condole with us and God bless.

Last Friday morning, my father had a sever dizziness.  So, my mother brought him to the hospital (where my brother works) for check-up.  His blood pressure went up that cause him mild stroke.  He undergone CT Scan.  The doctor said there was a problem in his throat that he cannot swallow even his saliva, that's why merong nilagay na tube sa nose niya para dun ilagay ang milk (Ensure) because he had a hard time swallowing solids.  Nilagyan din siya ng oxygen and dextrose.  There were abnormalities seen in his heart and also his brain.  Yesterday, he was transferred at the ICU to be monitor closely.  I do not know but I think all of these happened because of his drinking liquor and cigarettes.  Well, we warned him before but he's very hard-headed.

it's been 5 months...

It has been more that 5 months since my last blog. Since my husband arrived from work, I was very busy with my life as a wife and as a mother. There were very special occasions that was celebrated and for me it was very memorable. First thing, I was having problems with my laptop because it was needed to be reformat, my hard disk was corrupted.

When my husband arrived, we celebrated his birthday together with relatives. We had grilled fish, pork and fresh green salads.

A week after hubby's celebration, it was my daughter's opening in her school. Then the following week was Father's Day.

Then comes my nephew's 3rd birthday, Leedon Vincent. After that it was Mika's classmate's birthday, Lovy Chin. Next, at Mika's school they celebrated Nutrition Month.

That month end, a pretty baby girl was added to our family baby Savannah. Then my brother arrived for his vacation.

My cousin-inlaw arrived from the States because her mom died, there got the chance to bond with the family.

My hubby's grandmother and his uncle from Australia arrived, in time for baby Savanna's dedication. Another bonding moments with my inlaws.

Then it was Mika's Speechfest at school.

Then my siblings treated our mother a birthday together.

Then it was me from my hubby to go back to work, will not see him for 8 months. Sad to say that he's not here to celebrate Christmas, New Year, our anniversary, the kids and my birthday. But it's okay because I know that God is with him to protect and give him more strength to carry all the work that he will encounter. Good thing we can talk though internet, thanks to the technology now.

SM Lanang Opening

Hello to all, its been months since my last blog.  Very busy with hubby and with Mika's school.  Bad news is that my lappy was down, so I need to reformat it.

Last Friday was the opening of SM City in Lanang, Davao City.  They said that the traffic was heavy,  it will take hours to wait in the jeepney.  But yesterday, the heavy was not that bad.  I was amazed to how big ma SM is and the basement parking is awesome! Hindi ko pa lahat na-ikot sa sobrang daming tao, hindi pa lahat ng stalls open.  Pero ang pinaka-pinagkaguluhan ng mga girls was the boutique of FOREVER 21.  Will share some photos below:

Raine's Dedication

It's been days since my last entry, been busy when hubby arrived last June 22.  Sad to say, he got sick then Mika got sick and I got sick too.

Yesterday was baby Raine's dedication, it was very successful.  Not all are invited due to lack of budget, sabi nga nila "BE PRACTICAL" lalo na sa panahon ngayon.  Will post some photos below:

Thanks to all who greeted my daughter!  To those who were asking why I always wanted Hello Kitty, the answer is that I am a fan of Hello Kitty and addicted to her too.  Anyways, back to my "title".  My brother's wife gave birth last April 23 to a healthy baby boy CALVIN "Migo" MIGUEL.

31st bday

Last thursday was the birthday of my brother's 31st (2nd after me). His mother-in-law called us and invited us for dinner at a restaurant but my sis-in-law said that my brother has cough and fever, that is why the dinner was celebrated at their home (in-laws of my brother). Trick or Treat 2011

How's your Halloween?  Hope everybody's had a great time with their families and love ones.  For us, we went to the cemetery early morning around 6:30am (Oct. 31 & this morning) then went also in the afternoon on the same date.  But before that, last Oct. 29 (at church) and Oct. 31 (at SM) it was the 1st time that my daughter Mika joined trick or treat.  Actually, kahit sumali siya natatakot parin siya sa mga costumes ng mga tao lalo na yung nakakatakot at naka-mascot.  Talagang nanginginig sa takot while hila-hila ang damit ko.  Well, meron talagang mga batang ganun.  Will share some photos below:

Back to work

How is everybody doing?  Well, hope you are all doing great.  I'm happy that I am back in blogging here in my new home because my http://labshu.info will expire next year and I will not continue it anymore that is why I made this blogger site as my new personal blog.  As for me, I am 7 months pregnant.  I will give birth either last week of December or 1st week January 2012 but my OB told me that there's a possibility that I will give birth on Christmas Eve.  And guess what, it is a baby GIRL...again!!!  And we will name her RAINE!

Back to my title...Hubby just left for work yesterday after 1 year of "tambay" because of his broken clavicle due to motor accident.  The night before he left, he was with 4 elementary & high school classmates:

Hubby's route is Manila-Japan-New York-Miami-Rio Hiana.  When he arrived at Narita Japan, he called thru Facebook video call while waiting for his flight to New York.  As of now, we are still waiting for his call, text or email if where he is right now.  He will be away for 8 months, super tagal pero sanay na ako.  We will miss him!

Yesterday, I celebrated my 32nd birthday. Sad to say hubby was not here to celebrate my special day. Actually, there is no party. Just ate lunch at home with mika, my mom, dad, brother, awit and chloe. Had kare-kare, veggies and pansit. My brother bought black forrest cake from red ribbon and ice cream. I also like to thank the people who greeted me on FB and through text. God bless you all and I love you!
